Is there a way to open a file in a hex editor, save the hex file, and then convert the hex back to C++ or something? There are some files I'd like to see the source code for for study purposes.
you are trying to "decompile" a binary executable...?
it is not possible: you can not go back to source code starting by a "plain" executable (debug information could help... but not so much).
